My story, Mathematical Shield, has been published in the latest

Pen In Hand Literary Journal.

Mathematical Shield was inspired by Carrie Underwood’s song, Little Toy Guns. Every time I heard that song, I pictured this little girl doing math problems to drown out what was happening around her.
